February 16:

Ring in the year of the pig at San Diego Chinese New Year Fair, a weekend celebration featuring acrobats, cultural performances, and food.

Inspired by the musical life of novelist Ralph Ellison, Jazz in the Key of Ellison features music from his favorite artists, like Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington, Thelonius Monk, and Count Basie, at Balboa Theatre.
