Would You Like a Luxury SUV with That Room?

New hotel trend

Published:

It’s not enough to provide concierge or room service any more. Hotels want your business—so badly that they’re willing to throw in pricey extras. The Four Seasons Resort Lanai at Manele Bay is launching its “Suite Ride” experience. If you book the Ali’i Suite, you get the keys to a Range Rover HSE—equipped with a gourmet picnic basket and beach gear, of course. Explore the Kanepuu Preserve or Shipwreck Beach in luxury! Want to dress nice for dinner, but didn’t pack the appropriate brand-name clutch? Casa Velas in Puerto Vallarta has a Handbag Bar that will loan you the perfect Carolina Herrera or Pineda Covalín, the “Hermès of Mexico.” We just hope we don’t get jaded with all this pampering. How will we ever rough it again?
