The San Diego Bay Wine and Food Festival gathered more than 10,000 wine and food enthusiasts, cookbook authors, culinary personalities, and celebrity chefs. Attendees enjoyed samples from more than 200 wineries and breweries, along with spirits and bites from 70 of San Diego’s finer restaurants. The seven-day festival featured wine-tasting seminars, cooking classes taught by celebrity chefs, wine dinners, Celebrity Chef Luncheon & Live Auction, Uncorked Launch Party, and the unforgettable star-studded Grand Tasting, where Chef Rich Sweeney of R Gang Eatery won “Chef of the Fest” for his dish, “Duck-Fat Fried Beignets with Burnt Orange Cream.”
