The Magdalena Ecke Family YMCA hosted the 18th annual Paul Ecke Jr. Poinsettia Ball at its Encinitas campus. Channel 8 News anchor Barbara Lee Edwards was emcee; Jeffrey Strauss of Pamplemousse Grille prepared the gourmet dinner. Dan Green was the gala sponsor.
