More than a dozen San Diego chefs rolled up their sleeves for Gingerbread City 2008, a friendly competition in which contestants build an entire town from gingerbread. Held at the Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines, the holiday event annually benefits the Epilepsy Foundation of San Diego County. Sally Thornton was chair; Dr. Mitchel P. Goldman was honorary chair.
