At the new Everyday California storefront, owners Mike Samer and Chris Lynch are operating much more than a kayak tour company. There’s the always-evolving line of tees, hats, and newly added sweatshirts—all sporting their signature bear, Brutus, a playful take on our state flag mascot, standing upright with surfboard in hand. And while the store serves as base of operations for their daily ocean tours, Lynch hopes the clubhouse-like atmosphere, boasting reclaimed wood walls and a loft decked out with a DJ booth and kegerator, makes you want to “come and hang out.” Follow them on Instagram for details on future events. 2246 Avenida De La Playa, La Jolla
