Restaurant débuts, menu changes, and trend tracking

Published:

The highly anticipated ramen house UnderBelly is now open in Little Italy.

North County welcomes sudsy new Sublime Ale House with plenty of burgers and pizza on the menu to soak up the beers.

After a long wait, East County’s second microbrewery El Cajon Brewing Co. is now
open downtown with a full restaurant as well.

The casual new farm-to-plate eatery Urban Plates has two major perks: it’s affordable and local wine and beer flow freely.

Bite m.e is a great option for quick, casual Mediterranean food in the Gaslamp (or to fuel up for a night out).

At South Park’s new Juan Chou restaurant, you’ll never have to choose between sushi or Mexican again.

Brooklyn Girl’s debut on Goldfinch in Mission Hills (from the owners of the former Trattoria Acqua in La Jolla) has been delayed until January.

After an extensive renovation of a former parking lot in Hillcrest, Snooze Eatery will open its doors this month.

Uptown fans of the PB institution will soon be able to get their Rubicon Deli fix closer to home when the new Mission Hills location opens this month.
