August 1:

August 2:

Relive the stunning journey of a Grammy Award–winning singer in Beautiful: The Carole King Musical at the Civic Theatre. Through August 7.

August 3:

Join the always-hilarious Jim Gaffigan as he pokes fun at himself, parenthood, and maybe even Hot Pockets, in his Fully Dressed stand-up set at SDSU.

August 4:

Take in the twinkling skies via telescope during the three-day Julian Starfest, hosted at Menghini Winery. $5 for adults, $2.50 for children 13–18, free for children 12 and under.

August 5:

Sing Along with Broadway! at San Diego Symphony’s Bayside Summer Nights concert, featuring two performances of all your favorite show tunes.

Cygnet Theatre hosts Girls’ Night Out with Champagne, shopping, and the musical Gypsy.
