July 31:

August 1:
The Living Coast Discovery Center (formerly the Chula Vista Nature Center) showcases sea life and glasswork in its Art Aquatic exhibit.
August 2:
Smooth crooner Chris Isaak brings his A-game to Humphreys Concerts by the Bay. $85.
August 3:
La Jolla Music Society opens its SummerFest with “A Romantic Promenade” at MCASD. $50 and up.
Bazaar del Mundo showcases authentic Mexican art and collectibles during its free three-day Latin American Festival.
The Coronado Playhouse presents a comedic production of The Man Who Came to Dinner in its intimate, 100-seat cabaret-style theater.
August 4:
Swing with Big Bad Voodoo Daddy at Anthology in Little Italy. $12 and up.
Sip in support of Encinitas Coastal Rotary at Brewfest Encinitas. $40 and up.
The city’s elite bartenders serve up craft cocktails during the San Diego Craft Beer and Cocktail Showcase street fest at El Dorado. $15 and up.
If you didn’t make it to London, you can still get in the Olympic spirit with a free guided tour of the Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista.
August 5:
