Chicweed

Solana Beach's outdoor oasis

Published:

Spring is near, which means it’s time to get those outdoor spaces ready for BBQs, picnics, and al fresco meals. Chicweed, a garden shop nestled in Solana Beach’s Cedros Design District, is an open-air market offering patio décor, landscape consultations, and unique planters. Have your own containers? Chicweed can incorporate them into custom arrangements made of succulents, grevilleas, bougainvilleas, herbs, and tillandsias. (Think creatively: They’ve planted in garden chairs and kitchen sinks!) If you want to flex your own green thumb, the shop also offers classes. Past topics include wreath-making and vintage- container planting (check site for details). 240 South Cedros Avenue, Solana Beach
