Ballast Point Sculpin Four Ways
Head over to Sessions Public for this one of a kind event
Sessions Public, a seemingly strange name for a bar, manifests owner Abel Kaase’s dream to combine the laid back, comfortable vibe of Point Loma with Kaase’s love for food. The bar not only serves sustainable and locally grown bar food, but brews 16 taps daily that are continually changing. Kaase wanted the bar and restaurant to be a place where friends and neighbors could congregate and relax in a familiar and comfortable environment, and that is exactly what Sessions Public provides.
The eclectic menu offers affordable and creative dishes for anyone, whether you’re in the mood to splurge or just hungry for a snack. Offering small plates like fries with garlic aioli, black quinoa with herbs and tomatoes and the Nueske bacon lollipops and shared plates such as roasted beets with goat cheese, crispy chicken oysters and duck confit thai summer rolls, Sessions Public takes your typical bar food to the next level.
On Feb. 9, join Sessions Public as they present a special event, Ballast Point Sculpin Four Ways, which was a gold medal winner at the 2010 World Beer Cup. Customers will have the rare opportunity to sample local brewer Ballast Point’s Sculpin IPA in four ways: cask, nitrogen, draft and habanero, where the beer is uniquely infused with habanero peppers, one of their specialties, each in $12 flights. Event Details Ballast Point Sculpin IPA Four Ways Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2011 Hours: 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Sculpin Four Ways flights: $12 4204 Voltaire Street San Diego, Calif.
Finally, don’t miss out on Sessions Public daily happy hour, from 4 to 6:19 p.m., to receive $2 off draft beers, specialty cocktails and shared plates.
