Drink This: Summer Cocktails at Jsix

The new Summer Menu at Jsix features a variety of delicious dishes that take advantage of the summer bounty, as does the selection of refreshing summer cocktails that are tailor-made for sipping on a hot, sunny day.

The two standouts were the Chili-Mango Margarita ($12) and the King Collins ($11).

If you love spice, try the Chili-Mango Margarita, which has double hit of spicy flavors. The refreshing drink is made with chili-infused Herradura Tequila shaken with house-made sweet and sour mix and mango syrup, garnished with chili-lime salt. The jalapeno kick and the house-made sweet and sour really go a long way to make this particular 'rita one of the most creative (and tastiest!) in the city.

Another great way to beat the summer heat is with a King Collins ($11), made with Hendrick’s Gin, St.Germain, the juice of one lemon, cucumber, and a splash of soda. It's a light, effervescent drink that's like a day at the spa in a glass that goes down surprisingly easy. One or two of these and you'll have no trouble finding your bliss.
