Rompers: Not Just for Babies Any More
An argument for giving the one-piecer a try

I was in LA over the weekend and instead of my usual forays into the underground boutiques of Silver Lake and Los Feliz, I went for a long walk in Runyon Canyon.
If you’ve never been to Runyon Canyon, it’s a beautifully scenic walk off Mulholland Drive with a view of downtown L.A. and the Hollywood sign. It’s hilly, filled with people and dogs, and of course, the occasional celebrity.
The outfit du jour was anything Lululemon.
One young woman however, didn’t get the Lululemon memo. Walking along in her four-inch heels and the cutest red romper ever—as inappropriately dressed for the occasion as she was—I had to re-think the whole romper look.
Here are my favorite romper styles and where to find them in San Diego:
|3.1 Phillip Lim, Net-a-Porter, $475.||Pinup Romper, J.Crew, $49.50.||Robert Rodriguez Halter, Nordstrom, $295.||Kimchi Blue Silky, Urban Outfitter, $59.|
