UPDATE: The Yelp Aftermath

Craft & Commerce sees flood of one-star auditions on Yelp

Published:

San Diego Mag broke the news about Craft & Commerce recording their bad Yelp reviews and playing them on the overhead speakers in their bathrooms. Now that it's become a topic of international conversation, we followed up with co-owner Arsalun Tafazoli to gauge the aftermath. "It was a little crazy to see how much national press the thing got," he says. "The only down side is now people are leaving fake one-star reviews in hopes that we'll play them." We can only imagine what rung life must currently be on for people crafting one-star Yelp reviews in hopes they'll be immortalized in the public forum of the urinal. Simon Cowell has been contracted to sift through the best of the new batch. (Note: That's not remotely close to the truth.)
