SD Food News: 100% More Super

What is this blog, and how can it help realign my chakras?

Whoa, meta.

Whoa, meta.

It's my job to hunt restaurant news. I eat a lot, am always wiping this or that from my hyperactive maw. I pester chefs, loiter in kitchens, am the mildly disconcerting fellow taking photos of construction sites because I feel one day there will be a soul-stroking short rib served at the location.

For the last seven years, my news/observations/fever dreams about San Diego restaurants has lived, primarily, in my Twitter feed. But expressing points and viewpoints in 146 characters is the informational version of Spanx—strangling a larger, more accurate body of work. So welcome to the un-Spanxing of my restaurant info-feed.

SD Food News is where all of those observations will live now. Breaking stories about the San Diego restaurant scene will go here. Half-cocked, vaguely irresponsible observations will go here. A living, breathing ticker of my life trawling the local restaurant world.

Cheers,

Troy
