San Diego is a city filled with diversity, creativity, discovery and adventure and nowhere is that spirit more evident than in Balboa Park, long known as the region’s cultural heart. National Geographic explores what makes San Diego so unique in its four-part miniseries that will showcase Balboa Park and the city to a national and international audience. To celebrate this partnership, the San Diego Tourism Authority is holding a premiere party on Oct. 10. A special thanks to the sponsors of the event: SDG&E, Bank of America, Cox Communications, San Diego Airport Authority, Univision, San Diego Chamber of Commerce, UC San Diego Extension, US Bank, Hilton and the San Diego Regional Economic Development Corporation.

Don’t forget to tune into the miniseries, which airs on the National Geographic Channel, at 7 p.m. on Oct. 18, Oct. 25, Nov. 1 and Nov. 8. Find out more here.
