Liberty Station’s Holiday Walkabout will kick off a new quarterly community-driven ‘walkabout' series on Saturday, December 12th. Take in the thousands of twinkling lights and festoons of holiday decor within the neighborhood's north end "Arts District" (between Roosevelt Rd and Lytton St). Feast on complimentary holiday-inspired tastes and sips from favorite local eateries, wander the endless artisan galleries and boutiques for the perfect gift, or hit the new ice rink for an evening of family-fun. Liberty Station’s hoverboarding Surfing’ Santa will touch down to greet well-wishing kiddos, and with live music and entertainment stationed along Sims Rd., there’s plenty of holiday revelry to be had by all as Liberty Station welcomes friends & families to the neighborhood.

Walkabout participants to include: Buona Forchetta, Fireside, Liberty Public Market, The LOT, Corvette Diner, Soda & Swine, Solare, Slater’s 50/50, Point Loma Tea, Comic Art Gallery, Bravo School of Art, Comickaze Comic Books, Point Loma Sports Club, The Hotspot Studio — Pottery Painting & candle Making, The Loma Club Golf Course, Kid Ventures, Pigtails & Crewcuts, 7 Stitches, and so much more!

Liberty Station is preparing to ‘deck the halls’ with plenty of free holiday-inspired events & festivities throughout the month of December. Keep your eyes peeled for a new holiday ice rink benefiting Rady Children’s Hospital (open through Jan 3rd), a festive & foodie-filled walkabout with bites and previews of San Diego’s most buzzed about openings (including Fireside, Liberty Public Market, The LOT, Corvette Diner, Buona Forchetta, Soda & Swine and more), and a family-fun movie night in the park (catch Home Alone on the big screen).
