Top chefs rally in support of Antonio Friscia

Chef Antonio Friscia
Ask any chef in town who one of the most underrated chefs is, and they'll say Antonio Friscia (Stingaree, Gaijin). Adept at Italian, Asian and a certified sommelier, the guy can pretty much do it all. The other thing those chefs will say about him: one of the most genuine, big-hearted guys in the scene. And now he needs a little heartfelt action in return. On July 4, his wife was in a terrible accident that left her with burns over half her body, and her life was essentially saved by the UCSD Burn Center.
This Sunday, almost every single one of the city's top chefs are rallying for the cause. They'll gather at Stingaree from 4-8PM to serve up food, drinks and auction off vacation packages, sports memorabilia, bottle service, dinners, etc. Chefs include Jeff Jackson (AR Valentien), Jason Knibb (Nine-Ten), Trey Foshes (George's), Olivier Bioteau (Farm House Cafe), Christian Graves (JSix), Katie Grabow (Cafe Chloe), Paul McCabe (Delicias),and a ton more.
A $20 donation is suggested at the door. A full 100% of profits will be donated to the UCSD Burn Center.
