Let’s Celebrate Doctors’ Day

Say thanks to your Scripps doctor (or whole team!) with a donation in their name

Published:

For Michael Timson, health was a team effort. After a diabetes diagnosis in 2014, Scripps Clinic put together a coordinated care dream team with not one, not two, but five skilled medical professionals. With their help, Timson was able to change the course of his disease. To say thanks, he made a donation to Scripps in honor of National Doctors’ Day in his caregivers’ names. Learn more about Doctors’ Day and how you can give a shout out to your Scripps physician here. Two-time cancer survivor Steve Young came up with a different way to express how grateful he was to his Scripps care team. He and his wife made a five-year commitment to Scripps MD Anderson Cancer Center. Read more about how they gave back here.
