Sitting for Hours at a Time Can Be Detrimental to Your Health

We’ve known for quite a while that a sedentary lifestyle isn’t healthy. But a recent study shows adults who sit still for even an hour or two without moving have a higher risk of dying prematurely than those who take frequent activity breaks. Workers who spend the most time sitting behind their desks also experience less serious conditions like neck and back pain, which can appear in as little as six months to a year.
