Spring is in the air. Nowhere is that truer than at The San Diego Museum of Art, whose four-day-long flower-themed art extravaganza is underway April 26 to 29. More than 100 floral interpretations of artworks, parties with flower-infused drinks, floral-crown-making workshops—it’s all happening at this sweet-smelling event. (And meet the creative force behind the event here.)

Seventeen blocks of Little Italy will fill with art, music, and dance this weekend. Among the eight featured artists are AkZhana, Ann Golumbuk, and Harut Hakobyan. Those who want to try their own hand can join in an interactive project to create an abstract painting, or be a part of the “community-wide painting installation” led by fine artist Carly Ealey.
For lovers of a different kind of Art, legendary folk rock singer Art Garfunkel will be at the Balboa Theater this Friday only for a two-hour show. As part of his In Close-Up world tour, Garfunkel is performing with guitarist Tab Laven and keyboardist Dave Mackay, playing songs from his days alongside Paul Simon as well as solo tunes.
