Learn How to Weave at This Unique Normal Heights Workshop

San Diego artist Sarah Eli is hosting the event at Sycamore Den on Wednesday

There’s no shortage of events that combine drinking and getting crafty in San Diego. One of the more unique opportunities to do just that takes place this Wednesday, March 22, at Normal Heights craft cocktail bar Sycamore Den, where local weaving artist Sarah Eli is holding an introductory weaving workshop. For a $60 ticket, you can learn how to create a decorative wall hanging while sipping on a glass of wine or Prosecco—and all tools and materials are included.

“The workshop is open to anyone who wants to weave their troubles behind or just has a curiosity for learning to weave,” says Eli. “It’s a fun relaxing activity to do at home once you get the techniques down.”

She is planning to host similar workshops in the future, so keep an eye on her Instagram for info about upcoming events.
