From pie shops and donut stores, to fish tacos and flat breads, to art classes and beach boot camps, we’ve hand-picked and vetted the best new finds north of the 56. And San Diego Magazine's annual Best of North County Party is your chance to try them all...  

 

What: Best of North County 2014

When: April 25, 6:30-9:30 p.m.

Where: Park Hyatt Aviara,7100 Aviara Resort Drive, Carlsbad

Why: Unlimited food and drink samples from local restaurants, wineries and breweries

How: Tickets are $75 or $85 (event entry, plus a one-year subscription to San Diego Magazine). Buy five or more tickets at once, and the price drops to $65 each. Tickets can be purchased through Eventbrite, or by clicking here

What to wear: California cocktail attire

With more than 40 food and drink vendors, your taste buds will go on a journey that takes you from craft brews and tacos to cupcakes and merlots.

But the great eats won’t be the only delight of the evening. Live music, surprise performers, and free photo booths will keep the party going.

Come out for a tasty education and get to know North County in the most fun way.
