Chef William Bradley and the team at the award-winning fine dining restaurant will plate a nine-course tasting menu of sake-cured kampachi, osetra caviar, Langoustine á la Robuchon (a tribute to the namesake chef), and more, ending with a grapefruit sorbet palate cleanser and for dessert, an éclair de fin d’année with amaretto, prune, and milk chocolate. Reservations can be made by calling the restaurant at 858-314-1900.

This Little Italy hot spot will be toasting with a four-course prix-fixe menu of seared scallops, short rib gnocchi, or filet mignon. Finish off your feast with a chocolate Pavlova and a Champagne toast.

Hotel del Coronado

Start with cocktails in the iconic Crown Room before indulging in dinner, dancing, and live entertainment in the hotel’s grand ballroom. They also offer a more PG-friendly party for kids ages three to 17—$125 for the first child and $100 for each additional— that includes dinner, ice skating (ages eight and up), games, s’mores, and a midnight toast with sparkling cider.

Lou & Mickey’s Steakhouse

Dine on a prix-fixe four-course menu of freshly shucked oysters, clam chowder, and filet mignon.

Madison

Madison’s three-course menu will include starters like tuna tartare and apple cranberry walnut salad, and entrées like a double-cut sesame crusted pork chop. There will also be a complimentary Champagne toast at midnight.

Maestoso

To celebrate their first New Year’s Eve in San Diego, contemporary Italian restaurant Maestoso will be offering two prix-fixe options: a three-course or a five-course dinner, both with wine pairing options. The menu will incorporate lentils, traditionally eaten in Italy to bring good luck during the New Year.

Time: 5–8:30 p.m. (three-course dinner); 8:30 p.m.–midnight (five-course dinner, last seating at 9:30 p.m.)

The Marine Room

Choose from a five-course menu, featuring imperial Wagyu beef braised with mulberry wine and Maine lobster tail basted with dill pollen butter. Enjoy live music from the Whitney Shay Band during dinner.

Maretalia

Check out Maretalia’s newly renovated dining space at their three-course New Year’s Eve dining bash. The contemporary Italian fare will include entrées like chestnut tagliatelle with black truffle.

Under the direction of new chef, Sean McCart, Mille Fleurs will be serving a five-course New Year’s Eve dinner. Choices include steak tartare and matcha tres leches cake.

Mister A’s

Some of the best views in the city pair perfectly with Mister A’s four-course meal. Highlights include a caviar trio on buckwheat blini and Chilean sea bass with Caribbean shrimp.

Monzù Fresh Pasta

A four-course menu will give guests a chance to choose between “Menu Mare,” for seafood lovers, and “Menu Terra,” for traditionalists. Guests will also receive a complimentary glass of prosecco.

Route 29

Inspired by the flavors and flair of Napa Valley, Route 29’s New Year’s Eve dinner will feature a full three-course menu. Choose from surf and turf lobster with a petit fillet, pan-seared scallops, and more.

It’s a waterfront fiesta with their unlimited taco bar and $5 margaritas.

You can start early on that resolution to eat more plant-based meals. The artisan scoop shop is debuting its “Vegandulgence” series of vegan ice cream flavors, like Toasted Coconut Chocolate Chip Cookies, Elvis’s Peanut Butter Banana Split, Candied Apricot Faux-Yo, Aquafaba Marshmallow Oatmeal Moon Pies, and Heidi Ho’s Lemon Cheesecake.
