The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe

There’s no better way to savor that last day before New Years’ resolutions start to kick in than by indulging in a four-course tasting menu. 7p.m.-11p.m. $79.50 per person; additional $20 for wine pairings or $40 for premium wines.

Chandler’s at Hilton Carlsbad:

Make the last meal of the year one to remember with a three-course prix fixe menu and entrée selections of crab-crusted sea bass, veal osso bucco, and a surf and turf duo of beef tenderloin and lobster tail. $75 per person; $35 for wine pairings and champagne.

Park Hyatt Aviara Resort:

On New Year’s Eve, choose between a seafood buffet at California Bistro, a four-course dinner at Argyle Steakhouse. If four-courses isn’t enough head over to Vivace for an elegant five-course dinner. Both California Bistro and Argyle steakhouse are also open for brunch on New Year’s Day. For reservations, call (866) 537-0336.

Pacifica Del Mar:

It’s time to indulge yourselves before the clock strikes midnight with a choice between two different prix fixe menus, both including a champagne toast and half off select bottles of wine. Two prix fixe menus at $55, seating starting at 4:3, and $89, seating starting at 7:30. For reservations, call (858) 792-0476.

Pacifica Ocean Bar NYE Party

Have a perfect New Years Eve experience without the cover charge exclusively at Pacifica Ocean Bar. From 10pm-1am guests will be served drink specials, paired bites, a live DJ and dancing, with a final champagne toast at midnight.

Cusp Dining & Drinks NYE Party

Enjoy the luxury of a four-course dinner and specialty cocktails with the entertainment of a New Years Eve bash all in one night. Dinner will be served at three seating (5, 7, and 9pm) followed by live music and craft drinks at the adjacent Starling Room starting at 9pm.

Mister A’s:

Start your NYE dining early with an a la carte menu, or just skip ahead to the five-course prix fixe menu featuring gorgonzola crusted beef tenderloin and fresh whole Maine lobster. A la carte menu from 5p.m. to 7p.m., prix fixe menu from 7:15p.m. to 9:45p.m. Prix fixe priced at $120 per person. For reservations, call (619) 239-1377.

Mille Fleurs:

This New Year’s Eves, Mille Fleurs will feature two different seatings, an a la carte menu from 5p.m. to 6:30p.m., and a five course prix fixe menu from 7:30p.m. to 9:30p.m. Special dishes include center cut swordfish steak, whole dove sole “meuniere” and sautéed veal sweetbreads. La Valencia:

Take plenty of time to sit down and dine before the big countdown to the New Year at either the 6p.m. or 8p.m. seatings. Live music and complimentary access to the countdown celebration included. Come back the next day and ease into the New Year with their famous “recovery cocktails” at brunch, served from 10a.m. to 3p.m. For reservations, call (858) 454-0771.

Leroy’s Kitchen + Lounge:

Avoid the New Years crowds of downtown and cross the bridge over to Coronado Island for a three-course prix fixe menu full of great food and all the charm that small town Coronado has to offer. $55 per person. For reservations, call (619) 437-6087.

Craft & Commerce:

With a name as quirky and charming as the restaurant itself, Craft & Commerce will be hosting their 2nd annual “Black Tie (Or Something Sorta Fancy) Party” featuring a four-course prix fixe menu. First seating at 6p.m., $75. Second seating at 9:30p.m., $90 including a complimentary champagne toast. For reservations, call (619) 269-2202.

Waypoint Public

The new North Park restaurant’s inaugural New Year’s Eve dinner features Chef Amanda Baumgarten’s 4-course prixe fixe menu, wine and beer pairings, and live music by Kliff. Two seating times, starting at 5:30 p.m. After-party begins at 11:00 p.m. Reserve at [email protected].

CUCINA urbana:

Settle in for a California-inspired Italian menu and wine selection with either a three or four-course menu. Be sure to try one of the special champagne cocktails to toast to the New Year! $50 per person for the 3-course menu before 6:30p.m., $75 for the 4-course menu after 6:30p.m. For reservations, call (619) 239-2222.

CUCINA enoteca:

The newest addition to Tracy Borkum’s roster of restaurants is offering both a three-course, four-course, and a la carte menu this New Year’s Eve. $50 per person for a 3-course meal before 6:30p.m., $85 for a 4-course menu after 6:30p.m. For reservations call (858) 704-8500.

Fish Public:

Get a head-start on the New Year’s Eve dinner with the three-course menu before 6:30p.m., or wait for the 4-course option after 6:30p.m.. No reservations? No problem! Treat yourself to an epicurean New Years Eve experience at The Grand in Del Mar. Corvette Diner’s Rockin’ Eve

The 50s-Style Diner will be ringing in the New Year early from 7-9pm with a live DJ, a balloon artist, a menu of signature burgers and shakes, and a special toast at 9pm when the ball drops in NYC. Come back in the morning for the New Years Day Pajama Party from 11:30am-2:30pm for a pajama contest, breakfast, and morning cocktails for the parents.
