Kilroy Hearts a Vision for Main Street

Kilroy is working on a Main Street vision for Carmel Valley called One Paseo

Kilroy Realty Best of San Diego Party Main Street

Last week, Kilroy Realty joined San Diego Magazine for an amazing night out at the annual Best of San Diego Party.  As the sponsor of the event’s Main Street, Kilroy offered attendees a place to "Dine. Play. Gather." with great food, cool attractions and the high-energy rhythms from a great local DJ.

As San Diegans, we have so much to love about our neighborhood main streets around town. That is why Kilroy is working on a Main Street vision for Carmel Valley called One Paseo and asked people what they love about their Main Street at their interactive “I Heart _____” station.

Dozens of people chimed in and lent support for the vision for a Main Street in Carmel Valley.

Here’s what some people tweeted about Main Street:

Kilroy Realty I Heart Carmel Valley@Dawnfoodluv would like to see tree-lined streets, public transportation, a great bakery, cheese shop, bistro, weekly farmers’ market and green space on her Main Street.  @yoruhana’s ideal Main Street has an ice cream and shake shop as well as a Mexican restaurant. And @SarahGrieco would like to see a condiments shop with honey and jam!

What do you love about your “Main Street”?

What neighborhood gems that exist or have yet to come to Carmel Valley would you want on your ideal Main Street?
