Charity Classic Trunk Show

Support local charities while getting some serious fall fashion inspiration

There is no time like the present to get in the holiday spirit of caring and giving, and what other way to do it than with a festive & fashionable event?

On Tuesday, November 6, with the combined efforts of the University Club and Fashion Valley, get ready to “fall for style” with an exciting fundraising event. The Charity Classic Trunk Show at the University Club encourages all attendees to “sip, shop, socialize” while raising funds for 3 great causes. All proceeds of the Trunk Show benefit a group of wonderful charity organizations – MDA’s Augie’s Quest, the Employee Partners Care Foundation, and the Lamp of Leaning Scholarship Fund.

A little about these organizations:

Augie’s Quest encourages scientific research to find a cure for Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS,) often referred to as Lou Gehrig’s disease, and works endlessly to fund various projects with the goal of accelerating the development of therapeutics for ALS.

Also fighting for a fantastic cause is the Employee Partners Care Foundation, which has through its efforts helped more than 800 Employee Partners in need of financial assistance during times of crisis.

Finally, the Lamp of Learning Scholarship Fund, in association with the University Club, is one of San Diego’s most generous donors. It helps young students attend California Universities through much-needed scholarships and awards.

The event will provide guests with live music, festive bites, and champagne, as well as numerous fabulous prizes from its exhibitor drawings, including Henri Bendel, Kiehl’s, Taylor Guitars, Art of Shaving, UGG Austrialia, and Mont Blanc, among others.

It will be held at the University Club Atop Symphony Towers, located at 750 B Street, Suite 3400, in San Diego.  Tickets cost $25. To RSVP to this event, call (619) 234-5200, or visit uc-sandiego.com.
