Big changes are in store at Nordstrom

Attention shoppers! Nordstrom recently announced it will be changing up our favorite designer department Savvy and lowering the averageprice point.     

As of mid-February, Savvy will start carrying brands like MinkPink, ASTR, Mural, and Viva Vena! (Vena Cava’s diffusion line), with prices starting as low as $19.

The shift is due in part to the success of brands likeTopshop, the British import which started appearing stateside in Nordstrom stores last fall. And it’s part of a larger trend that we’re seeing in stores such as Target and H&M, which offer special collection designer clothes at an accessible cost.

As for former Savvy brands like Joie, J Brand, and Haute Hippie, they will be moved to other departments throughout the store.
