TEDx enthusiasts, here’s your next event

One of the more popular TEDxes, TEDxAmericasFinestCity, is coming to the La Jolla Playhouse (Mandell Weiss Theatre) on July 14. Expect speeches, live music performances, art shows, and a DEMO—a showcase of innovative companies and orgs.

A few of the speakers will be Shivani Singh, CEO and Visionnaire of Dharma Express, Greg Koch, Co-Founder and CEO of Stone Brewing, and Gregg Visintainer, a self-taught artist who has contributed work to Volcom, Skinit, and others.

“Our team is hyper-focused on finding local thought leaders and change agents in our community who are forward-thinkers and who help San Diego live up to its name—America's Finest City,” says Mark Dewey, the curator of TEDxAmericasFinestCity. “Our mission is to create a quality TEDx show focused on design, interactivity, and ideas worth spreading. Our team works directly with 5 other TEDx organizations in San Diego and an even larger Southern California TEDx network that allows us to be creative in a TED-like way."
